Israeli Police Locate Missing 4-Year-Old Boy After Extensive Search in Ashkelon

After a full day of intensive searching, 4-year-old Yuval Kogen was found safe approximately 10 kilometers from the Dogit beach in Ashkelon. The search involved police forces, volunteers, and emergency responders who were deployed following reports of his disappearance. The police chief, Major General Danny Levi, expressed gratitude to all who assisted in the operation, which included helicopters, the maritime police unit, divers, and urban rescue teams focusing on the coastal area and nearby lands.

Earlier, the police had also requested public assistance in locating another missing 4-year-old boy, Younes Abu Ghanem from Rahat, who went missing while at Delilah beach in Ashkelon with his father. Authorities released a description of Younes, noting his slim build, brown hair, and last seen wearing a blue tank top and gray pants, urging anyone with information to contact the police immediately.

National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir praised the dedication and swift response of all involved in the search efforts. He extended his support to Yuval and his family, expressing hope for peaceful and healthy days ahead and thanking God for the positive outcome.

The police continue to investigate and monitor the situation to prevent similar incidents and ensure public safety along Ashkelon's beaches.
