Biala Hasidim from Bnei Brak Gather at Western Wall for Shabbat Nachamu

Hundreds of Biala Hasidim from Bnei Brak will spend Shabbat Nachamu in Jerusalem's Old City, gathering under the spiritual leadership of their Rebbe. This event continues the tradition established by the late Rebbe known as the 'Lehevet David,' who annually led his followers to spend a Shabbat near the Western Wall during the period of Bein HaMetzarim.

This year, the current Rebbe decided to move the gathering from the traditional Bein HaMetzarim Shabbat to Shabbat Nachamu, following Tisha B'Av, to unify all Hasidim in one location rather than dispersing them across multiple sites. The prayers and ceremonies will be divided between the Western Wall plaza and the Porat Yosef Yeshiva hall in the Old City.

The schedule includes Mincha and Kabbalat Shabbat at 19:20 near the Western Wall partitions, the same spot where the late Rebbe used to deliver his teachings. Psalm recitations will take place at 7:30 on Shabbat morning, followed by Mincha prayers also at the Western Wall. Other prayers and holy gatherings will be held primarily at Porat Yosef Yeshiva, accommodating the large crowd of worshippers.
