Vizhnitz Hasidim Unite for Mass Prayer at Western Wall for Rebbe’s Recovery

Ahead of the Jewish High Holidays, thousands of Vizhnitz Hasidim are called to gather at the Western Wall plaza in Jerusalem for a collective prayer seeking the full recovery of their Rebbe. For the first time, the three sons of the Vizhnitz Rebbe jointly signed a special public appeal urging their followers to unite in prayer during this critical spiritual period. The sons, Rabbi Chaim Meir Hager, Rabbi Yitzchak Yeshayahu Hager, and Rabbi Yaakov Mordechai Hager, addressed the Hasidim to invoke abundant divine mercy as the Days of Awe approach in the Hebrew year 5787.

The mass prayer event is scheduled for Friday night at 10:30 p.m. and will include heartfelt supplications, Selichot prayers, and Psalms recitations. Additionally, members of the "Chak LeYisrael" kollels, a prominent network of Torah scholars from the Vizhnitz community in Bnei Brak, will embark on a special spiritual strengthening journey to Jerusalem. They will join the thousands of Hasidim at the Western Wall later that night, playing a central role in the gathering.

This unprecedented joint call by the Rebbe’s sons and the large-scale assembly reflect the community’s deep concern and solidarity during this pivotal time. The event underscores the importance of collective prayer and unity among the Vizhnitz Hasidim as they seek healing and blessing for their spiritual leader.
