Hapoel Be'er Sheva Profits From Kings Kangwa Transfer Despite Serbian Stake
Hapoel Be'er Sheva is set to reduce its squad as midfielder Kings Kangwa is expected to leave the club, generating significant revenue. The Serbian club Red Star Belgrade owns 20 percent of Kangwa's transfer rights, entitling them to a share of the transfer fee if he moves on. The Greek club Panathinaikos is reportedly set to pay Hapoel Be'er Sheva 3.8 million euros for Kangwa, who was originally purchased from Red Star Belgrade for 650,000 euros.
Red Star Belgrade will receive 20 percent of the profit margin between the two deals, amounting to approximately 630,000 euros. This leaves Hapoel Be'er Sheva with a net gain of about 2.52 million euros from the transfer. The club also benefited from Kangwa's contributions to winning the league championship and the cup. This financial outcome reflects a successful investment for Hapoel Be'er Sheva despite the partial ownership by the Serbian club.
