Fox News Poll Shows Declining Support for Trump and Israel Among Americans
A recent Fox News poll conducted from July 17 to 20 reveals widespread dissatisfaction among American voters with President Donald Trump's policies across multiple key issues. Only 39 percent of respondents approve of Trump's overall performance in the White House, while 61 percent disapprove.
The poll highlights significant opposition to Trump's stances on immigration, Iran, and the economy. Specifically, 42 percent support his immigration policies versus 57 percent who oppose them. Support for Trump's approach to Iran is even lower, with only 34 percent in favor and 66 percent against. Economic policies receive 33 percent approval compared to 67 percent disapproval, and just 27 percent back his efforts to combat inflation, while 73 percent reject them.
Regarding broader ideological preferences, half of the respondents favor capitalism over socialism, with 50 percent supporting capitalism and 46 percent opposing it. Conversely, only 30 percent support socialism, with 65 percent opposing it. On the topic of Israel, 44 percent of Americans expressed support for Israel, whereas 55 percent opposed recent Israeli policies.
These results suggest challenges ahead for Trump and his allies as the U.S. approaches the midterm elections, with notable concerns about his administration's direction and foreign policy, including relations with Israel.
