A News 14 poll published Thursday evening shows overwhelming Israeli criticism of Donald Trump’s agreement with Iran. According to the survey, 84% of respondents believe Trump effectively surrendered to Tehran by signing the deal. Only 9% said he acted correctly, while 7% said they had no opinion.
The poll also asked how Israelis view Israel’s direct military campaign against Iran. A slim majority, 53%, described the operation as a victory, but 41% called it a failure, indicating a divided public assessment of the fighting and its longer-term results.
On the northern front, the survey found an especially firm position on a possible U.S. demand that Israel withdraw from southern Lebanon. Eighty percent of respondents said Israel should reject such a demand, compared with 17% who favored agreeing to an American request for a pullback.
The results point to broad public skepticism toward diplomatic arrangements with Iran and a strong desire to preserve military gains in the north, even if that risks friction with Washington.
