Three Arab Men from Abu Ghosh Arrested for Impersonating Police and Robbing Foreign Workers

Three Arab men in their twenties from Abu Ghosh were arrested on suspicion of impersonating police officers and robbing foreign workers in Jerusalem. The investigation was launched by the Harel police station following multiple complaints from foreign laborers reporting thefts of money, mobile phones, and personal belongings. According to the police, the suspects allegedly searched the workers under the pretense of conducting official police activity and stole their possessions.

The police investigation led to the arrest of the three suspects and the recovery of stolen property, which was subsequently returned to the victims. The court approved the police request to extend the suspects' detention until July 27. Authorities suspect there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward.
