Arab Telegram Channels Praise West Bank Stabbing Attack and Threaten More Violence
Hours after a stabbing attack in the West Bank's Samaria region left a Jewish man in his 50s seriously injured, major Arab Telegram channels circulated posters glorifying the assailants and warning of further attacks. The posters described the stabbing as a "heroic act" and declared, "Our stabbings are the solution to beheading the snake of your settlement, and the next ones will be bigger."
The stabbing occurred amid heightened tensions following an arson attack earlier the same day at the "Derech Avraham" farm, which was set ablaze by Arabs from the nearby village of Beit Furik. The fire spread rapidly, prompting a response from dozens of volunteers, firefighting teams, security forces, and local emergency squads who worked together to control the blaze.
During the firefighting efforts, two assailants attacked the responders. One volunteer was stabbed in the chest and sustained serious injuries. He was evacuated to a hospital for treatment. The incident has sparked concern over escalating violence in the area.
The West Bank council and local authorities continue to monitor the situation as security forces investigate the attacks and work to prevent further violence.
