Big Brother Star Riywa Raslan Marries After Nearly Seven Years Together
Riywa Raslan, a contestant from the 12th season of Israel's "Big Brother," has married her longtime partner Adam Ali after nearly seven years of being together. The couple got engaged in September, sharing the news on social media with a traditional engagement announcement involving the groom's parents formally asking the bride's parents for her hand.
The wedding took place in northern Israel, attended by several of Raslan's fellow "Big Brother" cast members, including season winner Talia Ovadia and her husband Shachaf Raz, who also participated in the show, as well as Sarin Avraham and Dror Rockenstein. Raslan had reached near the finale in her season and is known for her complex personal story.
Originally from Lebanon, Raslan immigrated to Israel at age four with her family. Her father, a member of the Israel Defense Forces, was severely injured in an assassination attempt. Her sister, Farah Raslan, has appeared on "MasterChef" and "The Next Restaurant of Israel." Although Riywa has stepped back from the entertainment industry in recent years, she maintains a popular Instagram account where she openly discusses her life and struggles with anxiety, which intensified after her reality TV experience due to resurfacing childhood traumas.
