Big Brother Israel Alum Riywa Raslan Marries Longtime Partner Adam Ali

Riywa Raslan, a former contestant on the Israeli reality show Big Brother, married her partner of seven years, Adam Ali, on Tuesday evening. The wedding took place in Sakhnin and was attended by several participants from the season in which Raslan competed, including Talia Ovadia, Shahaf Raz, Sharin Avraham, and Dor Rockenstein. Raslan wore a dress designed by Daniela Shalom.

Ovadia and Raz, who met during the show and have since married and had a child named Yaar, shared a humorous anecdote about nearly taking a wrong turn on Yasser Arafat Street on their way to the venue. Raslan had announced her engagement to Ali last year on Instagram, describing the proposal as a "formal marriage proposal in the old and beautiful way."

Raslan was one of the standout contestants of the 2022 Big Brother season but was eliminated just before the finale. Born in Lebanon, she moved to Israel at age four with her family. Her father, a member of Tzahal, was severely injured by an explosive device, resulting in the loss of his eyes, hands, and a leg. Raslan openly discussed her relationship with Ali during her time on the show, making it a central topic of her stay in the Big Brother house.
