Motorcyclist in his 20s Killed Near Yokneam Junction
A motorcyclist about 20 years old was killed overnight between Thursday and Friday after being hit, apparently by a car, on Highway 6 northbound near the Yokneam Interchange. MDA’s 101 emergency center in the Carmel region received the call at about 1:00 a.m.
Paramedics and medics who arrived found the rider lying on the side of the road, unconscious, with no pulse and no breathing, and suffering severe multi-system injuries. They carried out medical checks at the scene, but his injuries were too severe and they pronounced him dead there.
MDA senior medic Zohar Razbi said, “We saw the motorcyclist lying by the roadside unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing, with very severe injuries to his body.”
