Motorcyclist Killed in Early-Morning Crash in Tirat Carmel
A man in his 20s was killed early Friday morning in a traffic accident on HaShiloach Street in Tirat Carmel, near 1:00 a.m. Passersby who saw the rider lying by the road called emergency services, and MDA teams found him with severe injuries and pronounced him dead at the scene. Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
MDA senior medic Zohar Ratzbi said the crew found the motorcyclist unconscious, with no pulse or breathing, and with very severe injuries. He added, “We performed medical tests but unfortunately his injuries were significant and there was nothing left for us to do except declare his death.”
The fatal crash came amid another serious road incident in northern Israel earlier in the week, when a three-year-old girl was critically injured after being hit by a car on Pinsker Street in Kiryat Ata and taken to Rambam Hospital in Haifa.
