Itamar Ben-Gvir Responds to Arrest of Suspect Planning Attack Against Him

Itamar Ben-Gvir, Israel's National Security Minister, responded on Tuesday to the arrest of Mohammad Awad, a Nazareth resident who allegedly planned to harm him and sought to join Hamas. Ben-Gvir noted that this was the ninth attempt on his life and expressed gratitude to the Israeli Police, Shin Bet, the Magen unit, intelligence, and the Prison Service for their efforts to protect him.

In a video statement, Ben-Gvir vowed to continue his hardline policies, including reforms in the prison system, expanding rapid response teams, and demolishing illegal structures in the Bedouin communities of the Negev. He emphasized his commitment to act for his people and declared he is not afraid of such threats.
