Democrats Party Releases Official Primary Results With Yair Golan Leading

Yair Golan secured the top spot on the party list, followed by Naama Lazimi and Gilad Kariv. The full list includes 19 candidates, featuring prominent figures such as Efrat Rayten, Yaia Pink, and Michal Rozin. The primaries were marked by intense competition between candidate factions and legal drama, including a last-minute petition by Channel 14 to the Tel Aviv District Court alleging the party barred its team from covering the results announcement.

Prior to the vote, journalist Amnon Levy sparked controversy by publicly endorsing a recommended slate that included Lazimi and Kariv while urging voters to oppose candidate Naor Narkis, whom he labeled a "provocateur."
