Used Car Dealer Yehav Car Denies Allegations of Selling Unsafe Vehicles

Yehav Car, a used car dealership, has strongly rejected claims made in a recent investigative report accusing it of selling dangerous vehicles. The company's attorney, Yaron Ben Or, stated that Yehav Car operates transparently and in full compliance with the Used Vehicle Sales Law and Consumer Protection Law, providing all customers with proper disclosure forms. Allegations regarding odometer tampering and failure to disclose documents were categorically denied.

Ben Or explained that the term "constructive total loss" is a recognized economic and insurance concept used in cases involving damage to headlights, bumpers, or bodywork, and is unrelated to the term "total loss." He emphasized that all vehicles mentioned in the report were sold after inspection and with customer acknowledgment of the vehicle's condition, including any constructive total loss status. Furthermore, Yehav Car offered refunds to customers who raised complaints after purchase, exceeding legal requirements.

The attorney criticized the investigative report for presenting isolated cases that have already been resolved, arguing that this creates a misleading and incomplete picture of the company's practices.
