Car Lot Owner Arrested After Selling Dangerous Vehicles

Following an investigative report by Channel 13 News, police arrested the owner of the "Yahav Car" used car lot in Benjamin on Tuesday. The lot was exposed in a "HaMefaker" (The Investigator) segment for selling dangerous vehicles. All vehicles on the lot were confiscated upon his arrest.

The Channel 13 investigation revealed that the lot, located in the Ganei Modi'in settlement, offered seemingly simple and inexpensive solutions for purchasing used cars. However, buyers later discovered the vehicles were defective. The investigation found numerous issues, including odometer tampering and the sale of cars that had been in severe accidents and were unsafe for driving.

Despite the initial report and public exposure, the car lot reportedly continued to sell cars with falsified mileage or those deemed unsafe. Channel 13 received additional complaints from individuals who had purchased or sold vehicles through the lot and felt deceived.
