Apple Boosts iPhone Speed Up to 30% with iOS 27 Public Beta Release

Apple has launched the public beta of iOS 27, promising significant speed improvements for iPhones, including older models like the iPhone 11. The update enhances device performance in over 30 ways, with app launch speeds increasing by up to 30%, photo loading in the Photos app accelerating by 70%, and AirDrop file transfers becoming 80% faster. Additional improvements include faster camera startup in low battery mode, quicker Safari loading times, and enhanced connectivity for music and smart home services.

These upgrades come alongside a comprehensive overhaul of Siri, Apple's voice assistant, which has been optimized and bug-fixed without compromising device performance. The update supports iPhone models from the iPhone 11 and newer, with Apple basing performance gains on tests conducted on the iPhone 11 Pro Max comparing iOS 26.4.2 to iOS 27.
