Liberman Claims It's His Turn to Be Prime Minister in Potential Minority Government Talks

Two leaders from the opposition bloc, known as the Change Bloc, have reported that Avigdor Liberman told them privately that if a minority government is formed, it should be his turn to serve as prime minister. These discussions reportedly took place in two separate, private meetings several weeks ago, where Liberman suggested forming a minority government solely to replace Benjamin Netanyahu, followed by new elections. Liberman allegedly stated, "If this scenario happens, it's my turn to be prime minister." However, Liberman denied these claims in response to inquiries, calling them "lies and falsehoods" and asserting that "there is no option for a minority government, not even for a moment."
