Liberman Proposes Unified Prime Minister Solution to Opposition Ahead of 2026 Elections

Avigdor Liberman, chairman of the Israel Beiteinu party, announced in an interview with Maariv that he has formulated a comprehensive plan to resolve the question of who will serve as prime minister, a plan he claims will gain unanimous approval from the entire opposition bloc. Liberman stated that the solution, ready to be presented the day after the elections, addresses both the prime minister's identity and the coalition formation. He sharply criticized those running independently, accusing them of sacrificing national interests for personal ambitions and warning that they would not succeed.

In response, the party "Yashar!" emphasized their focus on defeating the Netanyahu government and called on future partners to maintain that focus.
