Maksim Pilonenko Signs With Ironi Kiryat Ata After Two Seasons at Elitzur Netanya
Ironi Kiryat Ata has officially signed young center Maksim Pilonenko ahead of the upcoming basketball season. The 20-year-old, standing 2.08 meters tall, joins the northern club after spending two seasons with Elitzur Netanya. During the last season, Pilonenko appeared in 10 games for Netanya, averaging 7.3 points and 2.8 rebounds per game.
Ilan Nanikashvili, the team's professional manager, expressed pride and enthusiasm about Pilonenko's arrival, calling him a promising young talent. Nanikashvili added that the club expects Pilonenko to make significant progress this season, following the development pattern of other young players who have previously advanced at Kiryat Ata.
