Jordan Cohen Joins Ironi Kiryat Ata After Year of Recovery from Injury
After a challenging year of rehabilitation following a severe ACL injury, Jordan Cohen has signed with Ironi Kiryat Ata, marking a new chapter in his basketball career. Cohen, formerly of Hapoel Ramat Gan, became a free agent due to the injury that interrupted his promising progress. He was recognized as the Sixth Man of the Year for the 2023/24 season, during which he averaged 11 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game. In the playoffs, Cohen elevated his performance to 16.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game.
Alongside Cohen, center Maksim Pilonenko is also close to finalizing a deal with the Kiryat Ata club. Pilonenko, standing 2.08 meters tall, played 10 games last season with Netanya, averaging 7.3 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. This recruitment aims to strengthen Ironi Kiryat Ata's roster ahead of the upcoming season in the Israeli Basketball Premier League.
