Jordan Cohen Joins Ironi Kiryat Ata After Year of Recovery
After a challenging year of rehabilitation following a severe ACL injury, Jordan Cohen has signed with Ironi Kiryat Ata, marking a new chapter in his basketball career. Previously affiliated with Hapoel Ramat Gan, Cohen became a free agent due to the injury that significantly slowed his progress. Despite this setback, he earned the Sixth Man of the Year award for the 2023/24 season, averaging 11 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game. He notably elevated his performance during the playoffs, averaging 16.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game.
In addition to Cohen, Ironi Kiryat Ata is close to finalizing a deal with center Maksim Pilonenko. Pilonenko, standing 2.08 meters tall, played 10 games last season for Netanya, averaging 7.3 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. The signings aim to strengthen the club's roster ahead of the upcoming season in the Israeli Basketball Premier League.
