Israeli Forces Arrest Gaza Resident Who Entered Israel Illegally Before October 7 Conflict

Israeli security forces arrested a 49-year-old resident of the Gaza Strip in the northern village of Reineh on July 10, 2026, after discovering he had been staying illegally in Israel since before the outbreak of the "Sword of Iron" war on October 7. The arrest was made by the Northern National Guard unit of the Border Police and northern district police during a targeted enforcement operation against illegal residents and those aiding them.
