Government Approves Additional 100 Million Shekels to Strengthen Informal Education

The government has approved an additional budget of 100 million shekels to strengthen informal education in Israel. The funding will be directed to the main support allocations of the Youth and Society Administration in the Education Ministry, including youth movements, gap year programs, Ofeq preparatory programs, student villages and educator groups.

The budget increase is intended to ensure the continued continuity of educational and social activity across the country and will make it possible to expand services for teenagers and young people from a range of populations, including youth in the periphery, immigrants, at-risk youth and participants in youth advancement programs.
