Chabad Center Opens New Medical Consultation Hotline Facility in Kfar Chabad
Chabad's central organization inaugurated a new facility for its medical consultation hotline in Kfar Chabad, funded by the Wirtzburg family. The center, led by medical advisor Rabbi Leizer Katz, will enhance the hotline's round-the-clock guidance and assistance services while maintaining full professionalism and confidentiality.
At the festive dedication ceremony, Rabbi Meir Ashkenazi, head of Magen David Adom in Kfar Chabad, highlighted the hotline's vital complementary role to hospital operations. The event was attended by public figures and senior medical professionals, including Knesset member Ron Katz (Yesh Atid), who praised Chabad director Rabbi Levi Mendelzon for providing dedicated support to all population sectors without discrimination. Professor Yehuda Adler summarized his impression of the center's work as "literally a privilege of saving lives."
