Chabad Launches Nationwide High Holidays Services Campaign
The Chabad Youth Organization is launching an extensive national campaign to provide Jewish services and full accessibility to holiday prayers and rituals for the general public across Israel ahead of the High Holidays. Central to this initiative are "Open Synagogues," large tents and accessible prayer centers offering chairs and prayer books free of charge and without prior registration.
The organization has also upgraded its website, 'Chabad Israel,' introducing a digital search engine to easily locate the nearest Shofar-blowing service. Additionally, they are offering home visits for Mezuzah checks and the option to send a prayer note to the Rebbe of Lubavitch.
A special project, 'Lev Chabad,' will operate within Israeli medical centers, organizing prayers and holiday meals for patients and their families. Chabad teams will also engage with security forces, terror victims, and Russian and French-speaking immigrant communities.
Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Aharonov, Chairman of Chabad Youth, stated, "The demand for prayers and the Shofar breaks records every year. We have deployed Chabad representatives nationwide to ensure everyone who wishes to participate in the holiday can do so in a warm, respectful, and inviting atmosphere."
