Israeli Police Chief Tests Arad 7 Rifle During Visit to Elite Counterterror Unit
Israeli Police Commissioner Major General Dany Levi conducted a professional visit to the Yamam unit, the national counterterrorism unit of the Border Police and Israel Police, on Thursday. The visit included participation from Border Police Commander Inspector General Barak Itzhak, Yamam Commander Deputy Inspector General A., as well as other unit commanders and fighters. The purpose was to assess the unit's operational readiness and to commend its fighters for their efforts against terrorism and serious crime.
During the visit, Commissioner Levi received an operational briefing on the unit's capabilities, advanced equipment, and combat readiness. He also personally tested firing the Arad 7 rifle, which is standard issue for the unit. The police spokesperson released footage documenting his shooting experience.
At the conclusion of the visit, Levi praised the Yamam commanders and fighters, calling them "the best fighters in the best unit in the world," highlighting their dedication and bravery in securing the safety of Israeli civilians. He expressed full confidence in the unit's leadership and personnel, emphasizing their critical role in maintaining national and public security.
