Moshe Kursia Sets Clear Boundaries on Dating: No Secular or Non-Believing Partners
Moshe Kursia recently opened up in an interview on the HOT TALK podcast about his spiritual journey and firm boundaries regarding relationships. When asked if he would date a secular woman, Kursia responded unequivocally that he would only consider it if she was interested in strengthening her religious observance, such as keeping the Sabbath. He stated, "If someone tells me she wants to grow spiritually and keep Shabbat, and there's a connection, then yes. But if she says she doesn't keep Shabbat, then no."
Kursia also emphasized the importance of shared faith, saying, "If someone tells me she doesn't believe in God, then no." He explained that he prefers to avoid unnecessary complications in his life, which is already complex. While he does not completely rule out dating a woman with children, he clarified that it is not his preferred choice, stating, "I'm not saying no, I just don't flow with it. Life is complicated enough, so why add more complexity?"
Throughout the interview, Kursia highlighted the significance he places on religious faith and lifestyle compatibility in a relationship. He believes that a partnership should be based on shared values and a similar way of life, underscoring his commitment to his spiritual path and the lifestyle it entails.
