Moshe Kursia recently addressed the controversy sparked by his comments about difficulties finding an apartment in Tel Aviv due to his religious observance. About two weeks ago, Kursia shared a video describing an incident where a landlord became upset after learning he was religious and kept the Sabbath, which led to public debate and criticism. During the premiere of the new season of the show "Mechubarim," in which he participates, Kursia revealed that he has now found an ideal apartment in Tel Aviv, ending his uncertainty about moving to Jerusalem.

Kursia explained that despite his affection for Jerusalem, he chose to stay in Tel Aviv primarily because of work commitments and the long daily commute he experienced. He expressed frustration over how his initial remarks were perceived, emphasizing that he never intended to insult Tel Aviv or create division. He apologized if anyone was offended and clarified that his message was about mutual respect rather than inciting conflict.

When asked about the apartment's suitability for his religious needs, Kursia confirmed it has an elevator that Sabbath observers can use and is located on a floor he can access by stairs. He dismissed accusations of incitement or division, stating he does not accept criticism directed at him for observing the Sabbath. Kursia concluded by reaffirming his love for the people around him and his satisfaction with his new living situation.
