Jerusalem Border Police Arrest Terror Suspect in Covert Operation in Hizma Village
Jerusalem Border Police commandos, guided by the Shin Bet and in cooperation with Border Police and IDF fighters, conducted a covert operation in the village of Hizma in the Etzion Brigade area. During the operation, the commandos infiltrated the village, located a terror suspect, and arrested him. The suspect is believed to be involved in terrorist activities. The operation was carried out under the intelligence direction of the Shin Bet, with participation from Jerusalem Border Police fighters, West Bank Border Police, and IDF soldiers from the Etzion Brigade. Following the arrest, the suspect was transferred for further investigation by the Shin Bet. The police emphasized the commitment of the forces involved in Operation Peace, stating that Border Police fighters, alongside all security forces, will continue to act decisively to thwart terrorism and arrest suspects anywhere and anytime to ensure the security of Israeli civilians.
