Christian Martinez Set to Leave Ironi Kiryat Shmona for Slovenian Club
Christian Martinez is nearing the end of his tenure with Ironi Kiryat Shmona after being a sought-after player throughout the summer. The Panamanian midfielder is expected to sign with Slovenian club Slovan Bratislava, with the deal reportedly close to completion according to Slovan Bratislava CEO Ivan Kamotrik. Martinez is set to travel to Slovenia soon to finalize the contract and begin a new chapter in his career.
Upon joining Slovan Bratislava, Martinez will reunite with fellow Panamanian César Blackman. The team is coached by former Manchester City star Yaya Touré. Martinez recently represented Panama in the World Cup, where the team was eliminated in the group stage.
