Israeli Forces Kill Hamas Military Security Chief in North Gaza Operation
In a targeted operation by Israeli security forces in northern Gaza Strip, Muhammad Marwan Muhammad Salem, the military security chief of Hamas's Central Jabalia Battalion, was killed. The strike aimed to neutralize an immediate security threat and resulted in the deaths of several other militants affiliated with Hamas's military wing.
Among those killed was Abd al-Malik Abu al-Jabin, a member of the elite "Nukhba" unit of the Central Jabalia Battalion, who also served as head of the investigation department in Hamas police. Additionally, Yaman Muhammad Gabriel Abid, a terrorist operative from the Central Jabalia Battalion, and Ghassan Akram Salama Daks, a militant from the Western Jabalia Battalion who was also active in Hamas police, were eliminated.
Intelligence indicated that this group had recently gathered in Gaza to plan and execute terrorist attacks against Israeli targets. The decision to strike the building where they were located was made to disrupt their operational plans and remove the immediate threat posed by the cell.
