Chef Eyal Shani Launches New Brunch and Evening Menus at Gila and Nancy

Gila and Nancy, the upscale restaurant by chef Eyal Shani, has introduced two new menus to enhance the summer experience. The first menu caters to morning and midday diners with a revamped brunch served on Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 to 15:00. This brunch features classic breakfast dishes with Shani's unique seasoning and presentation, including grilled cheese with egg in a nest (68 shekels), panzanella salad (64 shekels), golden challah with egg salad (52 shekels), and more substantial lunch options like "Goldfish in a Cloud" with remoulade and pickles (74 shekels), roasted salmon on a large rösti with a soft egg and white horseradish cloud (82 shekels), and a highlight burger steak and eggs for hearty appetites (106 shekels). These dishes are complemented by quality morning drinks and a theatrical atmosphere characteristic of Gila and Nancy.

The second menu, called "Aperdiva," is an evening aperitivo available Monday through Thursday from 18:00 to 20:00. It offers affordable tapas-style dishes priced up to 50 shekels, designed for sharing, alongside alcoholic beverages including a 1+1 cocktail deal. The menu, crafted by chef Daniel Lazar, includes fresh vegetables like melting spinach (38 shekels) and Japanese sweet potato (35 shekels), seafood options such as Intiás crudo (49 shekels) and house-pickled mozzarella with sardines (42 shekels), and meat dishes like lamb kebab (47 shekels) and beef tartare bruschetta (45 shekels). A comforting vegetarian gnocchi with brown butter and sage (42 shekels) is also available. The aperitivo precedes live performances by talented kosher drag queens starting at 20:00, encouraging guests to arrive early to enjoy discounted food and drinks along with the show.
