Bnei Brak Opens Unique 'Animals in Cubes' Attraction Park for Summer Break
After months of extensive preparation and a multi-million shekel investment, the international and unique attraction park "Animals in Cubes" officially opens to the public this Sunday, 12th of Av, in a large, air-conditioned complex at 31 Norok Street in the Kiryat Herzog neighborhood of Bnei Brak. The opening event was dedicated to orphaned children and their families, with top city officials attending, including Mayor Rabbi Chanoch Zeibert and several deputy mayors and municipal directors.
Mayor Zeibert described the park as a significant addition to the city, praising the developers for prioritizing kindness by inaugurating the park with a special event for orphans. Deputy Mayor Rabbi Menachem Shapira called the park an extraordinary venue on a grand scale, combining welfare activities with a vast, shaded, and fully air-conditioned space. The park spans approximately 4,000 square meters and is designed specifically for the ultra-Orthodox community, offering a high-quality entertainment option during the summer break.
The main attraction features over 50 giant exhibits constructed from more than 2 million cubes, accompanied by the "Song of Creation" to create a unique and emotional atmosphere. These exhibits were created by Duncan Titmarsh, a British artist and Guinness World Record holder for the largest Lego cube display. In addition to the impressive animal sculptures, the park offers diverse interactive activities for all ages, including self-building zones, giant cube pools, race car building areas, photo corners, a toddler play zone, and kosher food stalls. Visitors can also enjoy various performances, including special acrobatic shows.
The park operates under the strict approval of Bnei Brak's "Guardians of Holiness and Education" committee, led by educator Rabbi Mordechai Bloy, ensuring it aligns with the values of the Jewish home without compromise. The park will be open from Sunday, 12th of Av, until Thursday, 14th of Elul. Due to high demand and expected crowds, organizers recommend purchasing tickets in advance. Discounted tickets are available for city residents and through various organizations such as "Shelach" and the National Lottery. Tickets can be purchased via the Glatticket platform or by phone.
