Ben Gurion Airport Bans American Refueling Planes Amid Parking Congestion
Following the overnight arrival of four American refueling aircraft at Ben Gurion Airport, the Israel Airports Authority held a special meeting on Tuesday morning. During the meeting, the authority decided to prohibit the landing of refueling planes at Ben Gurion Airport going forward. Additionally, no approvals will be granted for the return of American military aircraft from U.S. bases in the region to the airport. This decision comes as a response to parking congestion issues caused by the presence of these planes.
