New Ownership Takes Control of Beitar Eilat with Major Budget Boost

Beitar Eilat, a Liga Bet football club, is entering a new phase as it transitions to new ownership under the Atouri family, who will provide the largest budget the league has ever seen. This change follows complex negotiations with the club's association and was finalized with the help of lawyer Amir Cohen, who brokered the agreement. The new ownership includes Natali and Dudu Atouri, who plan to elevate the club's professionalism and competitive standing in Israeli football.

Recent developments already underway include the appointment of Kobi Refu as the professional manager and the signing of players Gidi Keniuk, Ofek Fishler, and Ben Yehezkel. Further significant moves are expected soon as the club prepares for a fresh start. The agreement is set to be officially approved at a general assembly meeting on Thursday.

Amir Cohen expressed optimism about the deal, stating that despite initial difficulties, the parties reached a beneficial resolution.
