Israeli Ambassador Eli Vered Hazan Named Next Global Chairman of Keren Hayesod

Eli Vered Hazan, Israel's ambassador to Singapore, has been approved to become the next global chairman of Keren Hayesod, pending formal approvals from the organization and the World Zionist Organization. He will succeed Sam Grundwerg, the former Israeli Consul General in Los Angeles, who has led Keren Hayesod for the past eight years. Throughout his public career, Hazan has held several senior roles, including serving as Israel's ambassador to Singapore, advisor to senior Israeli government officials, and vice president for public diplomacy at the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs. Once the necessary approvals are finalized, Hazan will assume leadership of Keren Hayesod's global activities, a key organization dedicated to strengthening ties between Israel and Jewish communities worldwide.
