Eli Vered Hazan, Israel's ambassador to Singapore, has been approved to become the next global chairman of Keren Hayesod, pending formal approvals from the foundation and the World Zionist Organization. Hazan has held several senior positions throughout his career, including serving as Israel's ambassador to Singapore, advisor to top Israeli government officials, and vice president for public diplomacy at the Jerusalem Institute for Justice. He will succeed Sam Grundwerg, the former Israeli Consul General in Los Angeles, who led Keren Hayesod for the past eight years.
