Benny Gantz Admits Feeling Hurt Over Former Ally's Party Split
Benny Gantz, chairman of the Blue and White party, acknowledged feeling a pang of disappointment when his former political partner, Hili Tropper, announced the formation of a new party. In a Monday interview on 103fm radio, Gantz was asked if he felt any emotional sting from Tropper's move. He responded candidly, "Of course I did. Do you think I would lie to you? When people walk with you through all the difficulties and then turn left and go somewhere else, I cannot be happy about that." Gantz also expressed his hope that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would end his tenure, stating, "Netanyahu needs to finish his role. I hope the public will show him the door." Currently, Blue and White is polling below the electoral threshold, adding pressure to Gantz's leadership and political future.
