MK Yael Ron Ben-Moshe Leaves Benny Gantz's Blue and White Party

MK Yael Ron Ben-Moshe announced her departure from Benny Gantz's Blue and White party on Tuesday. She informed Gantz of her final decision not to join the new political framework he is working to establish. Ron Ben-Moshe described the decision as one of the hardest she has made, motivated by her commitment as a public representative, her role as a voice of opposition in the north, and as a representative of the working settlement community. She expressed appreciation and gratitude toward Gantz.

She also commented on the current political efforts toward unity, stating that while the attempt is commendable, she believes the current approach could be futile or even harmful. She highlighted a significant concern that some members of the new political framework, despite being worthy and entitled, might refuse to join a government led by Gadi Eizenkot aimed at bringing necessary change to the country. Ron Ben-Moshe called this scenario a major risk and a clear red line for her.

Her departure marks another setback for Benny Gantz as he seeks to reorganize his political base amid ongoing efforts to form a new government coalition.
