Yaal Ron Ben Moshe Quits Benny Gantz's New Political Framework Citing Strategic Disagreements

Yaal Ron Ben Moshe, a Knesset member from Benny Gantz's faction, announced on Tuesday that she will not participate in the new political framework Gantz is establishing. She described the decision as one of the hardest in her life, made out of commitment to her constituents, her role as a representative of the northern confrontation line, and the working settlement community. Ron Ben Moshe expressed appreciation for Gantz but explained that despite ongoing personal and group discussions within the Blue and White party about Gantz's political steps, she was unable to influence his direction.

She emphasized that the new path Gantz is pursuing no longer aligns with the centrist vision that Blue and White originally embodied, a vision she supported and was proud to be part of. Ron Ben Moshe warned that while the effort to create unity is commendable, the current approach risks failure and potential harm. She highlighted a critical concern that some members of the new framework, despite being respectable and entitled, might refuse to join a government led by Gadi Eizenkot aimed at delivering necessary change for Israel. For her, this scenario represents a significant risk and a clear red line.
