Benny Gantz Seeks Talik Guaily for Blue and White Leadership Amid Likud Pressure

Negotiations are advancing between Blue and White leader Benny Gantz, retired Brigadier General Dedi Simchi, and former Communications Minister Yoaz Hendel to form a joint electoral list for the upcoming Israeli elections. A key figure targeted by this trio is Talik Guaily, mother of Ran Guaily, the last Israeli captive returned from Gaza. Concurrently, the Likud party, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, is exerting significant pressure on Talik Guaily to join their ranks, offering her a high placement on their candidate list along with substantial financial benefits.
