Kadyn Currington Signs Three-Year Deal with Hapoel Tel Aviv Basketball
Hapoel Tel Aviv officially announced the signing of Kadyn Currington to a three-year contract ahead of the 2026/27 season. Currington, an American-born player who has acquired Israeli citizenship and represents the Israeli national team, joins from Hapoel Jerusalem where he played for four seasons, including competing in the EuroLeague. This season, he averaged 14.5 points per game, shooting 52% on two-pointers and 34% on three-pointers, along with 2.1 assists and 1.3 steals in 26.6 minutes per game.
Currington's contract starts with a salary of $1.7 million in the first year, increasing to $1.8 million in the second and $1.9 million in the third. He expressed excitement about joining Hapoel Tel Aviv, praising the club's recent growth and looking forward to contributing to its success. Hapoel Tel Aviv's coach, Dimitris Itoudis, welcomed Currington, highlighting his extensive experience in the Israeli league and EuroLeague.
Previously, Currington played for Monaco, Real Betis, and Dijon before his tenure at Hapoel Jerusalem, where he won two cup titles.
