Carrington Agrees to Join Hapoel Tel Aviv

Kadin Carrington is set to leave Hapoel Jerusalem and sign with Hapoel Tel Aviv this summer, after the two sides finalized terms, according to Sport5. The news comes after Jerusalem was eliminated by Hapoel Tel Aviv in the semifinals, ending its season on June 11, 2026. Carrington’s current contract runs through the end of this season, and although Jerusalem wanted to keep him, he has chosen to move to EuroLeague basketball with Ofer Yannay’s club.

For Hapoel Tel Aviv, which made Carrington a key summer target, the addition is viewed as a major upgrade. Because he is an Israeli naturalized player, he will not count as a foreign player in domestic league play. Carrington, who turns 31 in October, averaged 14.8 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists in the EuroCup, shooting 45.3% from three, and 14.5 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists in the regular season, at 34.2% from long range.
