Two Brothers Ambush and Brutally Stab Men Over Road Dispute in Northern Israel
In June, a routine verbal dispute over a blocked road in the village of Manshiyet Zibda in northern Israel escalated into a violent stabbing attack. Two brothers, aged 25 and 26 from Tur'an, armed themselves with knives and ambushed two men who had temporarily blocked their path. The victims were stabbed multiple times and sustained serious injuries.
Following an urgent medical report, police from the Northern District quickly arrived at the scene, secured the area, and launched an intensive investigation. The suspects fled to their home in Tur'an but were soon located and arrested. The investigation revealed that the violent attack was premeditated, triggered by the victims' temporary road blockage which led to a heated argument and aggressive horn honking by the brothers.
After the initial confrontation, the brothers left the scene, but later set up an ambush at a different location in the village. When the victims passed by, the brothers attacked them with knives, inflicting severe wounds. Police footage from vehicle cameras captured the incident, showing the narrow village streets, the gathering of people, and the violent altercation.
The Northern District Prosecutor's Office filed a serious indictment against the brothers at the Nazareth District Court, emphasizing the severity and premeditation of the attack. The prosecution requested that the brothers remain in custody throughout the legal proceedings, citing them as an immediate threat to public safety.
