Two Men Seriously Injured in Separate Violent Stabbings in Southern Israel
Two separate stabbing incidents occurred in southern Israel over the weekend, leaving two men in serious condition. Around midnight between Friday and Saturday, a 24-year-old man was stabbed in the Bedouin village of Segev Shalom in the Negev. Magen David Adom (MDA) teams provided life-saving treatment at the scene and evacuated him to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba.
Shortly afterward, a foreign worker approximately 30 years old was seriously injured in a stabbing at a construction site near the Dead Sea hotels. Paramedics Tamer Abu Naga and Eden Milman found the worker near the site entrance with penetrating wounds. They administered emergency care and transported him to the hospital in a serious but stable condition, conscious but with impaired awareness.
In a related note on Friday, police arrested a resident of Bat Yam suspected of stabbing his pregnant partner lightly during an argument at their home. The 44-year-old woman was found with stab wounds and bloodstains. The suspect fled the scene but was later apprehended. Police collected evidence at the scene, including the knife allegedly used in the attack.
