Man from Tel Sheva Charged with Fatally Stabbing Relative Over Family Dispute

The State Prosecutor's Office filed charges at the Beersheba District Court against Walid Abu Asa, 28, from Tel Sheva, for fatally stabbing his relative Akram Abu Ata during a family conflict. According to the indictment, the incident occurred following an argument between Abu Asa's sister and her husband, Abu Ata, and his mother-in-law, over her decision to order deliveries to her home and collect them herself. Abu Asa called the victim to his residence, and upon his arrival, stabbed him multiple times with intent to kill. Akram Abu Ata was taken to Soroka Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Abu Asa faces charges of intentional murder, assault, and obstruction of justice.
