Man Arrested for Stabbing Mother and Daughter in Ramla Family Dispute
A man in his 40s was arrested overnight on suspicion of stabbing his relatives, a mother and her daughter, outside their home in the G'warish neighborhood of Ramla. The incident occurred late Friday, with emergency services receiving the call at 22:51. Both women, aged 42 and 18, were found with penetrating injuries and were taken in moderate condition to Shamir Medical Center (Assaf Harofeh) for treatment.
Police from the Shfela district suspect the stabbing stemmed from a family dispute. Officers from the Ramla station launched an investigation, quickly locating and detaining the suspect. Forensic and intelligence units continued gathering evidence at the scene to clarify the circumstances.
The suspect is expected to appear at the Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court for a remand extension hearing. The police have not released further details about the motive or the relationship between the individuals involved.
