Israeli Police Solve April Stabbing Murder in Southern Town of Tel Sheva

Israeli police have solved the murder of Akram Abu Asa, a man in his twenties who was fatally stabbed in Tel Sheva in April. The killing occurred on April 16 around 1 p.m. following a dispute between Abu Asa and a relative of the suspect. The suspect, also in his twenties and a resident of the same community, allegedly invited Abu Asa to his home, where he attacked and stabbed him in the upper body, causing his death.

The investigation was led by the Central Unit of the Rotem District under the direction of Southern District Commander Chief Superintendent Haim Bublil. Investigators collected extensive evidence and testimonies, utilizing technological means to build a strong case against the suspect. Following the conclusion of the investigation, the Southern District Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment declaration and requested an extension of the suspect's detention pending trial.

Rotem District interrogation head Chief Inspector Eyal Zikerman described the investigation as complex and prolonged, emphasizing the police's commitment to combating violent crime and ensuring public safety by bringing offenders to justice.
