IDF Publishes Footage of Hezbollah Terror Cell Eliminations and Airstrikes in South Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released new footage documenting recent operations by Brigade 551 in southern Lebanon, conducted over the past two months under the command of Division 91. The videos show the elimination of a Hezbollah terrorist cell en route to a rocket launcher, the killing of an armed militant posing a threat to Israeli forces, and airstrikes destroying terror infrastructure near the village of Majdal Zun.

During these operations, IDF troops uncovered hundreds of weapons, neutralized over 80 Hezbollah militants, and destroyed more than 200 terror-related facilities. Among the destroyed infrastructure were strategic underground tunnels, two additional tunnel routes identified in Majdal Zun, rocket launch positions, weapons depots, and observation posts.

The IDF emphasized its ongoing commitment to removing all threats to Israeli civilians and military personnel, vowing to prevent Hezbollah from rebuilding its terror infrastructure or harming Israeli citizens. These actions mark the completion of Brigade 551's seventh combat cycle aimed at securing Israel's northern border.
